Our story begins in the 1960s, when Roberto Quintarelli, at just 14 years old, started working in a local stone workshop. There, he learned the art of stone cutting from master craftsmen in the historic Prun underground quarries, gaining a profound understanding of the tradition of Pietra della Lessinia.

After six years of intense work in the workshop, Roberto decided to expand his expertise. Together with a friend, he purchased a truck and started transporting local stone throughout Italy. This marked a pivotal step in spreading Pietra della Lessinia nationwide.

However, Roberto’s passion for stone craftsmanship endured. After a few years in transportation, he returned to artisanal work in local workshops and quarries. With vision and determination, he acquired his own quarry.

 For a decade, he worked there tirelessly, employing one of the first bridge saws directly at the quarry. Under a makeshift sheet-metal shelter, Roberto met the high demand for stone during this period, laying the groundwork for his legacy.It was during this “stone boom” that he founded Lavorazione Pietre Quintarelli Roberto, initially focusing on natural surface cladding. 

As demand grew, the company expanded its offerings to include flooring, gaining recognition for its signature finishes like the scratched or rolled effect.After a decade of hard work, Roberto relocated the business to its current headquarters. 

This marked a new phase of growth, establishing the company as a reference point in the Triveneto area for stone flooring and cladding. In recent years, modern technologies and the involvement of the third generation have further enhanced production. The company now delivers custom projects for both interiors and exteriors,
